New Coin of 100Rupees

Pm Narendrabhai Modi released coin of 100Rupees in memory of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on date 25,December 2018.

On the front side of coin there emblem of India and picture of Lion capital of Ashoka pillar (Ashok Stambh) and below that Satyamave Jayte written in Devnagiri script ,also country name Bharat written in  Devnagiri and India in Roman script.

On reverse  side of coin there is a portrait of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his name written in Devnagiri as well as Roman script. Also included two years (1924-2018);1924 & 2018 for  his birthday  and his death respectively.

The weight of coin is 35gm.The coin is made of 4 alloys namely silver, copper, nickel and zinc and percentage of each alloy are  : 1) Silver: 50% 2) Copper-40% 3) Nickel: 5% 4) Zinc: 5%.
